Biography

STEVE KRAMER EXPLODED ONTO THE SCENE IN 1998.  IN LESS THAN TWO YEARS AFTER LAUNCHING HIS STAND-UP COMEDY CAREER, HE WAS HEADLINING MAJOR CLUBS AND COLLEGES AND HE EDGED OUT DANE COOK FOR THE FINAL CAST MEMBER ON THE SKETCH COMEDY SHOW “HYPE”, STARRING “CHICKEN”, CHRIS WILLIAMS AND FRANK CALIENDO.  STEVE PLAYED MANY CELEBRITIES AND CHARACTERS ON THE SERIES, SHOWCASING HIS REMARKABLE VOCAL AND ACTING SKILLS.  HE ALSO PERFORMED A NUMBER OF SONG PARODIES ON THE SHOW, HIGHLIGHTING HIS ABILITY TO SING AND PLAY MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS.  STEVE TAUGHT HIMSELF HOW TO EDIT AND PRODUCE FILM SO HE COULD SINGLE-HANDEDLY PRODUCE A PILOT FOR COMEDY CENTRAL CALLED “STANFORD AND SONS” IN 2003.  HE CO-PRODUCED A PILOT CALLED “RIVERLAND” THAT SAME YEAR, EARNING HIM A DEVELOPMENT DEAL WITH HBO AND THE CHANCE TO WORK WITH DIRECTOR, RIDLEY SCOTT.  IN 2010, STEVE DECIDED THAT HE WANTED TO ADD ANOTHER ELEMENT TO HIS TALENTS, SO HE TAUGHT HIMSELF HOW TO ANIMATE.  HIS EFFORTS WERE REWARDED WHEN HIS ANIMATED REALITY SHOW ABOUT A COMEDY CLUB IN THE MIDWEST (A REVISED VERSION OF THE 2003 SERIES) WAS FEATURED IN THE “JUST FOR LAUGHS” COMEDY FESTIVAL IN MONTREAL.  STEVE IS CURRENTLY TOURING WITH PABLO FRANCISCO AS THEY WORK ON AN ANIMATED SERIES TOGETHER AND HE RECENTLY ANIMATED A SHORT STORY FOR JEFF DYE.  STEVE’S ANIMATION SKILLS HAVE GARNERED A BUZZ ABOUT HIM IN THE INDUSTRY, SO IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BOOK HIM, CALL 816-585-1751 OR YOU CAN EMAIL HIM DIRECTLY AT stevekramer777@gmail.com.
